  • Four-time winner of Creative Loafing’s ‘Best of Atlanta’ awards, Serson Brannen  intertwines spoken word, six digital theremins, vocal processors, loops and phrase samplers.

We are delighted that The Subliminator will perform his 16 minute long version of "Death Singing," to celebrate the long-anticipated release of his EP of that masterwork produced by Scared Records.

Brannen comments that the origin of 'Death Singing' was inspired by what he witnessed--with dismay—during a July fourth celeb
ration in Marietta, GA. “It's a comment on the fact that the general populace is blind to the transgressions that we as a nation commit.” His performances are intense, layered and deeply effecting.
Joined by Killick, one of the  jewels of Athens’ experimental scene,
whose ‘Appalachian Trance Metal’ explores the edges of possibility in sound with the H’arpeggione, an 18-string plucked and bowed hybrid created by California
luthier Fred Carlson. This will be an unforgettable evening of sound art.
